ABOUT THE KISSING DISEASE

Affectionately named after the mononucleosis virus, The Kissing Disease is a four-piece indie-rock band based in New Orleans, LA. Made up of music students at Loyola University, they aim to spread their message beyond the college sphere and into the world. With songs about anything from heartbreak to feminist history, they write songs both for those who want to scream at the sky and those who want to just get up and dance. They want their live shows to feel full of love and community, where audiences feel free to laugh, cry, sway, or headbang as they please. Their infectious melodies, intense lyricism, wailing guitar, and funky baselines create a musical contagion you’ll want to catch!
